The Neo-Japanese Empire is ruled by the "Ayakashi" race. Sakurako Shoji, who lives in the Imperial Capital, lost her parents at a young age and was taken in by the Amami family of fox spirits. What awaited her there was cruel mistreatment at the hands of the Amami family. Just as she stood on the brink of despair in those days, she was rescued by a young man of the Tengu royalty—her "fated mate." This is a love story woven between a somewhat eccentric young Tengu royal and the kind-hearted, pure-spirited Sakurako.
