On the surface, Nick seems to be just like any other ordinary guy living in Mameruka, but in reality he is anything but! He is able to transform into the yo-yo wielding superhero Captain Rainbow, but as trends changed and newer heroes appeared, he was forgotten about. In a bid to regain his popularity, Nick travels to Mimin Island, a place where wishes are said to come true. While there, he meets a variety of lesser-known Nintendo characters, each with their own hopes and dreams that Nick must now help them achieve! Amazing Captain Rainbow was a doujinshi created by Rui Nakagawa, and was based on the Japan exclusive Wii game "Captain Rainbow" developed by Skip Ltd. and published by Nintendo.
