To follow Tamaki, a genius player she admired , she transferred to Matsuyama High in Ehime Prefecture with the goal of building the best shogi club in the country. Her goal is to win the Ohashi Namihai, the tournament that's the gateway to a professional shogi career. To find another player, she talked to Kari, another girl said to have abilities comparable to Tamaki.
